The experience
Take off from Taucho (800 m) on a tandem, engineless flight, guided by a pilot-instructor with over 25 years of experience. The flight lasts around 20 minutes and the full experience (pickup, transfer, flight and return) takes about 2 hours. No prior experience is needed: the pilot takes care of all the equipment and instructions before take-off. Since it's an engineless flight, the exact day and time are confirmed according to the best weather window (wind, clouds, temperature), so it may occasionally be rescheduled to a more suitable time.

How much does it cost and what is included?
€110 per person for the tandem flight, adults and children at the same fare, and €150 with the video report — video and photos of the flight copied to your phone. It includes the pilot-instructor, the equipment, the briefing, civil liability insurance and free pickup and return in the south.
Where is the pickup and where do we take off from?
Free pickup in Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas, Costa Adeje, Playa Paraíso and Callao Salvaje. If you have a car or are staying outside that area, the meeting point is the car park of the Adeje Shopping centre or the one at La Enramada beach. From there you go up to Taucho, at 800 m, which is the take-off site.
How long is the flight and how long is the whole experience?
The flight, about 20 minutes. The full experience — pickup, drive up to Taucho, briefing, flight and return — about 2 hours.
What times are available?
Monday to Saturday. In summer (April to October) at 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 h; in winter (November to March) at 10, 12, 14 and 16 h. The exact time is set by the pilot according to that day’s wind and clouds, so book a slot and expect it may shift.
Are there weight or age limits?
The passenger must weigh between roughly 25 and 100 kg. There is no minimum age as such — the 25 kg weight is what counts — and the maximum is a guideline, around 75, depending on fitness. It is not suitable for pregnant women or people with reduced mobility. If your case is borderline, ask us: the provider handles special requests.
Do I need experience, or do I have to run a lot at take-off?
No experience at all. The pilot handles the equipment and explains everything before take-off; you just have to take a few steps downhill when told and let the wing do the rest. In the air you sit comfortably.
What do I wear?
Closed shoes that hold your foot, long trousers and a warm layer: at Taucho, at 800 m, and in the air it is cool even when it is hot down below. Sunglasses. If you book the video report, there is no need to bring a camera.
Which language is the briefing in?
The provider works in Spanish, English, German, French, Italian and Dutch. Tell us yours when booking and we confirm it for your slot.
How far in advance do I need to book?
It can be confirmed with a minimum of 4 hours’ notice, but it is best to book one or two days ahead to choose your slot and leave room in case the wind forces a change. Message us on WhatsApp and we confirm your place straight away.
What if there is no wind, or too much?
It is a motorless flight, so the weather rules: if that day’s window is not safe, the pilot changes the time or moves the flight to another day of your stay. For any other reason, free cancellation up to 48 hours before. That is why it is best not to leave it for your last day.
