What will you see on the Teide excursion?
Teide (3,715 m) is Spain's highest volcano, the highest peak in the Atlantic and the third largest volcano in the world. Its National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most visited natural site in Spain, and one of the most visited in the world.
The excursion includes stops at the Park's most spectacular viewpoints: Mirador de La Ruleta, El Portillo, Roques de García and Llano de Ucanca, with unique views over a lunar landscape of lava, badlands and volcanic cones.
It can be combined with the Teide cable car (additional ascent) to reach 3,555 m and enjoy 360º views over Tenerife and the neighbouring islands.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to bring warm clothes?
Yes. Even if it's warm on the coast, temperatures on Teide can drop to 5-10ºC even in summer. We recommend bringing a jacket or jumper. If you take the cable car, it can feel even colder.
Can I climb to the crater of Teide?
Access to Teide's crater (at 3,715 m) requires a special free permit that must be requested weeks in advance on the National Park website. The cable car reaches 3,555 m, which already offers spectacular views without needing a permit.
When is the best time to visit Teide?
Teide can be visited all year round. In winter there may be snow and the cable car may close due to wind. In summer it's best to start early to avoid the heat and the clouds that form around midday. Spring (March-May) is ideal, with flowers in the park.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes, on the group tour, hotel pickup in South Tenerife is included in the price. For hotels outside the usual area, we confirm the nearest pickup point.
