Available tours range from the short 7-minute flight over the south coast to the 40-minute Gran Teide Luxury route, covering Teide National Park, Los Gigantes, Garachico and the north of the island. How much does each helicopter route cost?
The ticket is per person: South Coasts, 7 minutes, €121; Beaches and Ravines, 10 minutes, €175; Los Gigantes, 18 minutes, €325; Isla Baja, 25 minutes, €473; and Gran Teide Luxury, 40 minutes, €600. All depart from the Adeje heliport with Helidream Helicopters.
Where is the heliport and how do I get there?
At the Adeje heliport, next to Golf Costa Adeje, a few minutes by car or taxi from the hotels in Costa Adeje and Playa de las Américas. The transfer is not included in the price; if you need one, it can be arranged on request.
What does the price include?
The flight of the chosen length, the safety briefing, insurance and headsets on board to hear the pilot. It does not include the transfer to the heliport or professional photos or video, which are booked separately.
Which route should I choose?
The 7 and 10-minute flights cover the south coast and its ravines; the 18-minute one reaches the cliffs of Los Gigantes; the 25-minute one gets to Isla Baja, in the north-west; and the 40-minute Gran Teide Luxury crosses the National Park, Los Gigantes, Garachico and the north. If the budget allows, a mid-length route leaves a better memory than the shortest one.
Are there weight or age restrictions?
There are weight restrictions for safety and load distribution reasons (ask when booking). Recommended from age 5, and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. There is no age restriction for adults, though it is worth checking if you have a specific medical condition.
How long do I need to be at the heliport?
Longer than the flight itself: before take-off there is check-in and a safety briefing, and the departure order depends on that day’s flights. We give you the exact reporting time on confirmation, and it is worth arriving with a margin, because a helicopter does not wait.
What if the weather is bad on the day of the flight?
Safety comes first. The pilot decides whether the weather conditions allow the flight. If it is cancelled for weather reasons, we offer to reschedule for another day or a full refund.
Can I take photos and video with my phone?
Yes, you can bring your phone or camera and film during the flight. Professional photos and video are a separate service booked at the time of reservation.
Can I book the flight as a surprise for someone else?

Is the price per person or for a private helicopter?
The price shown is per person (individual ticket) on a small-group flight of 2 to 4 passengers. If you want a fully private flight or more capacity, ask us and we check the conditions directly with Helidream Helicopters.
Which language is the briefing in?
The safety briefing and the pilot’s commentary are available in Spanish, English and French. Tell us yours when booking.
