Frequently asked questions
How much do Loro Parque tickets cost?
The ticket with return transfer from the south is €65 per adult and €49 per child aged 3 to 11, with a minimum of five hours inside the park. If you want both parks, the Loro Parque and Siam Park Twin Ticket is €78 and €57, and with the coach to Loro Parque included, €99 and €74. The transfer picks up by area and by day: El Médano and Costa del Silencio on Tuesdays, Golf del Sur on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Playa Paraíso to Los Gigantes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Tell us where you are staying and your date and we will confirm whether there is a pick-up that day.
What does the ticket include?
Access to the whole park and to all the shows — dolphins, sea lions, birds of prey — which run several times a day. It does not include food or drinks (there are places to eat inside) or souvenirs. The transfer only if you book it.
How long do I need to see all of Loro Parque?
A minimum of 5-6 hours is recommended to enjoy the park calmly and attend the main shows. If you go with children, allow at least 6-7 hours.
What time does it open and when is the best time to arrive?
It opens every day from 10:00 to 18:00. The best plan is to arrive at opening time: it gives you time to check the show times at the entrance and build your route around the two or three you want to see.
How do I get to Loro Parque from the south of Tenerife?
Loro Parque is in Puerto de la Cruz, about 45-60 minutes by motorway from the south. We can arrange your transfer by bus or taxi from your hotel. You can also go by hire car or by public bus — there is a direct line between Costa Adeje or Los Cristianos and Puerto de la Cruz — although public transport takes noticeably longer.
Is there a discount for children?
Yes. Under 3s go free and children aged 3 to 11 pay the child rate: €49 with the transfer included, or €57 with the two-park Twin Ticket. From age 12 they pay as adults.
Do I need to book in advance?
It is advisable. With tickets already issued you go straight in without queuing at the ticket office, and if you book the transfer we need to secure your seat on the bus. A couple of days’ notice is usually enough; in high season, better a week.
Can I visit Loro Parque and Teide on the same day?
Not recommended, as Loro Parque needs at least 5-6 hours. Ideally, give a full day to each. We can help you organise your schedule in Tenerife.
What if it rains in the north?
The park opens all the same, and the weather in the north is more changeable than in the south: bring a long-sleeved layer. With heavy rain, message us and we move your date. For any other change, free cancellation up to 48 hours before.
How is the booking confirmed?
Excursions Canaries checks availability, provider conditions and the traveller's level before confirming the experience.
Can you help me organise more than just the activity?
Yes. We can help with accommodation, car hire, spots, restaurants, cafés, recovery and complementary activities.
