Wingfoil lessons: private, semi-private or group
Three formats. The private beginner lesson costs €169 for 2 h, €449 for 6 h and €699 for 10 h, with instructor, gear and insurance. The semi-private is the same lesson for two students who share the gear and take turns: €95 per person for 2 h, €270 for 6 h and €399 for 10 h, the cheapest option if you travel as a couple. The group course is held at Granadilla harbour, on flat water with no waves, maximum five students, with personal gear and transport from El Médano included: €169 for 3 h, €330 for 6 h and €480 for 9 h. For those already flying, there are improver lessons with premium gear of 1, 2 or 6 h at €99, €175 and €499.
Wing, board and foil rental
The centre only rents foil gear to people who already have experience or have done at least one hour of lessons with them. The full set (Duotone wing, board and foil, with swaps during your stay) costs €115 a day, €200 for two days, €265 for three, €385 for five, €495 a week and €750 for two weeks; there are also 2 h for €70 and half a day for €95. Wing only or board with foil only, 30% less. Flexible days within a longer period, 20% more; two people on the same set, 25% more.

Message us on WhatsApp with your dates, level and whether there are one, two or more of you; we confirm availability with the centre and the exact price, the same one Duotone publishes. If you've never foiled, the Granadilla group course is where you learn most per euro: the harbour water is flat and the instructor takes five students at most. As a couple, the semi-private works out at €95 per person for 2 h and you take turns on the same gear, which is normal in wingfoil because at first you rest a lot. Private is for those who want their own pace or have little time. The centre sets the times each day according to wind and tide.

Cancellation & conditions
Free cancellation up to 48 h before. If there isn't enough wind on the booked day or the sea doesn't allow it, the lesson or rental is moved to another day of your stay at no cost; if no day is left, we review the case with the centre.

Why is the group course at Granadilla harbour?
Because the harbour water is flat. When lifting the foil for the first few times, the waves at El Médano beach get in the way; in the harbour you learn sooner with fewer falls. Transport from the centre is included in the price.
Can I rent gear without taking a lesson?
Only if you already fly on a foil. Otherwise the centre requires at least one hour of lessons with them before renting: it's their condition for all foil gear, and it protects both the student and the equipment.
How much is a week's rental?
€495 for the full set for 7 consecutive days and €750 for 14. With flexible days spread over a longer period, 20% more. Wing only or board with foil only, 30% less.
Is a private or semi-private lesson better?
If there are two of you, semi-private: you pay €95 per person instead of €169 and, since in wingfoil you rest every few minutes at the start, taking turns on the gear barely cuts into water time. Private makes sense if you're alone or have very few days.
What does the price include?
For lessons: instructor, insurance and all the gear — wing, board, foil, wetsuit, vest and helmet. For the group course, transport to Granadilla harbour as well. For rental, the full set with swaps during your stay; damage insurance on the gear isn't included.
What time are the lessons?
The centre schedules them each day according to wind and tide and lets you know the evening before or that morning. Light wind is better for learning to lift the foil, and in El Médano the wind usually strengthens in the afternoon.
Is there a minimum age?
The centre doesn't publish a fixed figure: gear is chosen by weight and height, and foiling takes a certain strength to handle the wing. Tell us the age and approximate weight when booking and we check before confirming.
How is the booking confirmed?
Excursions Canaries checks availability, provider conditions and the traveller's level before confirming the experience.
